Writing and Reading: The Struggle to Find Time For Both.

I am struggling to find the time to read any of the books on my "to read" list. 

The struggle exists because most of my spare time I now spend writing, or researching for writing.

I have four writing projects in progress right now.

1) My first attempt to write fiction. I don't know how this will work out, or whether it will be good enough to publish. I think the story is good enough, but whether I can do it justice, I don't know. The last time I wrote fiction was when I was at school, many moons ago. I hope I am better at doing it now. I was not an A student in creative writing.

2) I have another non-fiction project that I am working on, but my enthusiasm for it goes up and down. At the moment, it is down. I wonder if there would be any interest in it.

3) I am writing articles and stories for Medium. This is partly an experiment to see if it is a viable way to reach a larger audience. It is also possible to monetise your content on the platform, and for some it can be very lucrative (It has to be said that most writers don't earn much there).

4) This blog. I have somewhat neglected it because of 1 to 3 above.

It all means that I am not reading books that much. In fact, most of my reading right now seems to be on Medium.

I should be finding more time for books
